First I’d just like to say that Daniel is a wonderful individual. He is very intelligent and well versed in many of the different areas of technology besides just what is in his field. This desire to know more has lead Daniel to become one of the most technologically knowledgeable people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. His keen eye and attention to detail are second to none and I would behoove anyone to take advantage of the opportunity to hire this man as our country needs people like Daniel as there are few like him. Thanks to my interactions with Dan I have grown as an individual. Specifically my ability to take a convoluted situation and see it for what it really is. Example: Did you make or save money for Ford? Improve something? Did the job of 2 people, etc.

I have had an association with Dan for about 8 years and watched a brilliant young man develop a complete understanding of relationships and how technology can best serve the end user. As an professional educator for nearly 40 years I can say that I have never met a young man as gifted in the technology arena as Dan Pesserl. I find it difficult to translate (Spanish-English) my feelings and impressions about Dani, my dear cousin, but I’ll do my best!!

I know him since we are babies, we are family!! Unfortunately, we are far away (I live in Argentina) and I really miss the close relation we use to have. I always remember with affection the great times we spent together.

Dani has a great sense of humor and he is a caring and loving person, but the most remarkable quality is his determination overcoming challenges. Sensibility, creativity and passion characterize him. Microsoft should hire you undoubtedly!!!

I have known Dan for a couple years as a fellow student in the same Bachelor’s program. Dan draws a crowds attention just by his open demeanor. He doesn’t come to class and just wait for all the information during a lecture and then exit. During the lecture he will dig for information and contribute useful knowledge to the class in his efforts to make the most of his curriculum. He has exhibited positive communication skills with the other classmates. From what I can tell of Dan as a fellow student he has the willingness to learn, expand his experiences, share his knowledge, and work with others to achieve great things within information technologies and security.

I met Daniel almost 10 years ago right after I became very good friends with his mother through college. Daniel and I became friends right away since I had the chance to spend a vacation in Florida with him and his family. After that trip, I adopted Daniel as a brother. He inspired me with his great sense of humor and positive attitude. He is one of the smartest people I have ever met not only because he knows so much about technology and fluent in various languages, but because he has that common sense that has been lost these days.
I admire Daniel most of all because he has not made his disability an excuse for failure, and he continues improving himself to pursue his dream. Microsoft will be proud to have Daniel as part of their team.

Dan is one of the most extraordinary individuals I have met during my sojourn here on the planet earth. I first met Dan at the McMath-Hulbert Solar Observatory in Lake Angelus – the smallest city in the United States, or so I am told – but big things happen in small places. Dan ended up donating a lot of his time to help the observatory , a non-profit organization. He also helped many of the other volunteers, myself included.

The first time I met Dan, I was surprised to learn that he spoke German fluently as well as English, Spanish, other local dialects, and you’ll have to ask him what else – let’s just say he is multi-lingual. During our first conversation, I simply mentioned that I was having problems with my computer, printer, at-home wireless ethernet connection and the list goes on. Out of nowhere, Dan said that he would help me with all of that. Needless to say, he more than made good on that promise, as well as many other promises to help me with technology-related issues, that he intuited I would need help with, without my even asking him. He rescued many of my publications from a faulty hard drive, that I feared were lost forever. He was always very responsible and conscientious in finishing all my projects and exactly when he said he would. This was important to me, since my students at Oakland University expect more technology in the delivery of my lectures both online and off.

Dan is very persistant. If I recall correctly, President Obama has made it very clear that this is a belief-strategy he is using in bringing his goals to fruition. Even when I met Dan back in the 90’s, he was trying to become a part of this country and now I see that he is still trying to do this. He has really given much of his time to help better the educational infrastructure of this country thru the many projects he supported thru the Observatory, and I can only imagine what else he might have done beyond this. I believe that we as a country should give back to individuals of other countries,who have freely given of their time to make this a better country to live and learn in.

Dan is a good roll model for persistence, especially for those who are physically challenged. I have noticed that Dan has been ennobled by life’s challenges, rather than pulled down by them and his persistence is a very good example of this. It is hard to face challenges, unless one realizes a deeper purpose behind them. It seems that life is a continuous testing of our courage. Dan, for the most part, has seen these challenges as opportunities for positive changes and does not seem to be narrowed or embittered by all of them. In striving to overcome all of life’s challenges, he has somehow resurrected his creativity, resourcefulness and indomitable strength. His persistence is proof of this.
